Morris, IL – The Morris Water Department will begin roadwork in the 600 block of East Illinois Avenue on Wednesday, May 7th.
The planned project will close that block of the street while work is underway, though the intersections at both ends of the block will remain open to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes as roadwork progresses.
According to the Morris Police Department, the street will be “torn up” during the project. Drivers should anticipate delays and adjust their travel plans accordingly.
