According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation took place Wednesday, January 21, and involved the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Martinsburg Police Department.

Investigators said the joint operation resulted in a traffic stop conducted by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in the area of the 700 block of Martinsburg Road. During that stop, Timica Jeannann Johnson, 25, and Keesha Marie Davenport, 28, were taken into custody on narcotics distribution warrants obtained by the Martinsburg Police Department.

Following the arrests, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence located at 90 Goff Street in Berkeley Springs, according to authorities.

During the search, investigators reported seizing cocaine base (crack cocaine), oxycodone pills, hydrocodone pills, and U.S. currency. Officials did not immediately disclose the total quantity of drugs or cash recovered.

Both Johnson and Davenport are Berkeley Springs residents, according to law enforcement. Additional charges are pending as the investigation remains ongoing.
