New Caney, TX – A quick response by Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies led to the arrest of three suspects involved in a robbery and organized retail theft at a Bath & Body Works store in New Caney last week.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the store located at 21559 Market Place Boulevard. Two suspects allegedly entered the business, concealed merchandise, and assaulted a customer while fleeing with her cell phone.
A nearby customer immediately called 911, providing deputies with a detailed description of the suspects and their vehicle. Responding units quickly spotted the vehicle traveling along the 99 East Bound Feeder Road and conducted a traffic stop.
Deputies identified the suspects as Julian Broussard, 24, and Aerial Warren, 27, both of Houston, who were each charged with robbery. A third occupant, Marlon Adeyemi, 27, also from Houston, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Authorities recovered approximately $1,300 in stolen merchandise and the victim’s cell phone, returning both to their rightful owners.
Sheriff officials credited a vigilant citizen and swift deputy response for the successful arrests. “This incident shows how community awareness and fast action from our deputies keep Montgomery County safe,” the department said.
