According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), deputies working with the Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET), Precinct 1 Constables Office, the Department of Public Safety, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office executed multiple search warrants on Thursday.

Officials said the operation resulted in the arrests of 40-year-old Marcus Bishop and 19-year-old Brai’sean Brown. Investigators allegedly recovered approximately six pounds of marijuana, 463 grams of THC, 710 grams of cocaine, various narcotics in pill form, four firearms, and body armor.

Sheriff Rand Henderson said the investigation, which began several months ago, focused on drug trafficking and distribution in the Willis area. SWAT teams and K9 units were deployed during the search operations.

Sheriff’s officials noted that the case remains under investigation and additional charges may follow as evidence is processed.
