According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the call came in at 1:46 p.m. on Tuesday. Telecommunications received an attempt-to-locate request for a blue Chevrolet pickup after witnesses reported a male and female physically fighting inside the truck.

Deputies with Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office found the vehicle in the 20200 block of Duester Lane, where they located the bodies of 41-year-old Kevin Doak and 28-year-old Victoria Yates, both with apparent gunshot wounds. Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit, Crime Scene Investigators, and the Montgomery County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene.

According to authorities, preliminary evidence points to a possible murder-suicide. No additional suspects are being sought, and officers say there is currently no threat to the public.
