According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) and Shenandoah Police officers located the stolen vehicle on October 27, 2025, near the Pinecraft Shopping Center in The Woodlands. Responding deputies detained two suspects identified as Joshua Culver, 41, of Nettleton, Mississippi, and Stephanie Balderas, 34, of Laredo, Texas. Both were taken into custody without incident and charged with felony theft.
Investigators said the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Lee County, Mississippi. The MCSO Auto Theft Unit and Organized Crime Unit responded to assist in the investigation, which remains ongoing. Officials said additional charges may be filed pending further review.
