Glasgow, Mont. – Warm, dry air continues to dominate northeastern Montana this week, with Glasgow expected to reach near 78°F under sunny skies through Friday before a shift to cooler, wetter weather arrives over the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Glasgow, southeast winds between 6 and 10 mph will keep conditions mild through Thursday, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 30s. Friday brings continued sunshine, but gusts up to 30 mph may signal the approaching change in weather.

By Saturday night, a 40% chance of showers moves in as northwest winds increase, dropping nighttime temperatures into the low 40s. Sunday remains breezy and cooler, with highs near 59°F and lingering light rain possible.

Residents planning outdoor activities or travel across Valley County should prepare for shifting winds and reduced visibility if showers develop. The early-week sunshine will return by Monday, though temperatures are expected to stay in the 50s and 60s.

More updates and potential advisories are expected as the weekend system approaches.
