Glasgow, Montana – Rain is set to return to northeast Montana Wednesday, with Glasgow residents facing another round of midday showers and breezy conditions that could affect travel and outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service, a 20% chance of rain will develop before noon Wednesday, followed by partly sunny skies and a high near 70°F. Winds from the east are expected at 8 to 10 mph, but could gust higher during isolated storms. While Wednesday won’t be a washout, residents are urged to stay weather-aware—especially along U.S. Route 2, where conditions may briefly reduce visibility or create slick roads.

By Thursday, high pressure builds in, delivering mostly sunny skies and warmer temps near 76°F. However, rain returns Thursday night with a 60% chance of showers likely after midnight. Friday looks clear again, with highs in the low 80s and lighter wind.

Weekend Preview:
Saturday could bring scattered thunderstorms, especially after 3 p.m., as highs climb to the upper 80s. Sunday and Monday continue the summer heat, with temps in the upper 80s to near 90°F and more storm chances during the afternoon and evening. Outdoor plans should include heat precautions and backup options in case of lightning or sudden downpours.

More rain and thunderstorm chances are possible early next week. Stay tuned for updated advisories.
