Monroe, WI – Drivers heading to the Green County Fall Nationals this weekend should be prepared for alternate traffic routes. Authorities have announced changes for participants traveling to the Green County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Sept. 13.

According to the Green County Sheriff’s Office, all pullers taking part in the annual Green County Fall Nationals will need to use a designated route for entry. The advisory is meant to ease congestion and improve traffic flow in and around Monroe during the event.

Drivers are instructed to travel on State Highway 11 to County Highway KK, which becomes 13th Street upon entering the city of Monroe. From there, motorists should continue on 13th Street to 29th Avenue and turn right. This route will lead directly to the designated entrance gate at the Fairgrounds, located on the left-hand side.

The Sheriff’s Office urged participants to allow for additional travel time and exercise patience as traffic volumes are expected to be heavy throughout the day. Officials emphasized that compliance with the alternate route will ensure smoother access for both attendees and event organizers.

The Green County Fall Nationals is a highly anticipated event that draws participants and spectators from across the region each year, often resulting in heavier-than-usual traffic in Monroe. Law enforcement will be on-site to assist with directing vehicles and maintaining traffic safety.

“Thank you for your cooperation, and please allow extra travel time,” the Sheriff’s Office said in its advisory.
