According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, snow is anticipated to begin at 11 p.m. Sunday for Chippewa and Mackinac counties and 2 a.m. Monday for other affected areas. Accumulations could reach 5 inches in some regions. The advisory will remain active until 1 p.m. for Chippewa and Mackinac and until 10 p.m. for Northern Lower Michigan.
Drivers should prepare for slippery roads and reduced visibility. The Monday morning and evening commutes may see significant delays. Residents are urged to slow down and use extra caution while traveling.
