St. Louis, MO – Residents can enjoy a mild and dry weekend before rain moves into the area early next week. Highs will reach the 60s on Sunday, with increasing clouds signaling a shift in weather patterns by evening.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected late Sunday night, with a 50% chance after midnight. Monday’s forecast includes steady rainfall, especially during the afternoon. Gusty winds up to 30 mph could create challenges for commuters along major roads like I-64 and I-70. Drivers are urged to plan for reduced visibility and slick conditions during peak travel hours.

Sunday will see a high near 68 degrees with calm winds, making it ideal for outdoor activities before clouds roll in. Monday will remain warm, with a high of 67 degrees, but the rain could linger into Monday night.

Looking ahead, Tuesday offers a break in the rain with sunny skies and a high of 65 degrees. By midweek, the region could see more scattered showers, particularly on Wednesday, when temperatures will drop to a high of 50 degrees. The extended forecast suggests partly cloudy skies on Thursday, cooling further to highs in the upper 40s by Friday.
