St. Louis, MO – Residents in the St. Louis area can expect dry but increasingly chilly conditions through the end of the week, with temperatures hovering below normal overnight and partly sunny skies during the day. While no precipitation is in the forecast, cooling trends will dominate, especially during the nighttime hours.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday night will remain dry with partly cloudy skies and lows dipping to the upper 20s. Winds will pick up slightly out of the northwest but are expected to ease by midnight.

Thursday will offer a brief reprieve with mostly sunny skies and highs near 47 degrees. However, the overnight low will drop again to around 28 degrees, reminding residents to bundle up if heading outdoors.

Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, daytime temperatures will hover in the mid-to-upper 30s under partly sunny skies. While wind gusts could reach up to 20 mph on Friday, conditions will remain calm heading into the weekend. Nighttime lows will remain consistent in the mid-20s, creating a brisk, winter-like feel across the area.

By Sunday, forecasters predict slightly warmer temperatures with highs reaching 41 degrees and sunny conditions persisting. However, cloud cover will return Sunday night, setting up the potential for a damp start to the following week, as rain chances increase by Monday.

Area residents are encouraged to layer up for chilly nights and mornings and prepare for a dry but cool weekend. Stay informed by checking local forecasts regularly for any changes to the outlook.
