According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, severe thunderstorms are likely Monday afternoon into the evening, especially across east-central and southeast Missouri. Areas near the I-70 corridor—including St. Louis, Jefferson City, and surrounding suburbs—could experience hail exceeding two inches, gusts over 60 mph, and brief tornadoes.
