According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, Sunday’s high will reach 84°F under clear skies, climbing to 87°F Monday and peaking near 89°F on Tuesday. Humidity will rise through Tuesday, increasing the chance of thunderstorms, which stand at 50% Tuesday night. These storms could bring gusty winds, lightning, and downpours to key routes including I-64 and I-70 during the Tuesday evening commute.

By Wednesday, the chance of rain jumps to 80% with continued thunderstorm activity and highs in the low 80s. Wet pavement and low visibility may affect morning drivers across St. Louis County and into the Metro East.
