Daytime highs will reach the mid-to-upper 90s, and city officials are urging residents to limit outdoor exposure, especially along major roadways like I-64 and I-70 where asphalt temperatures can exceed 130°F.

According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, an Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect through 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29 for St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and nearby counties in Illinois and Missouri. Saturday’s high will reach 95°F with oppressive humidity, prompting health officials to warn of elevated heat illness risk.
