St. Louis, MO – A mix of fire danger, gusty winds, and thunderstorms will make for an eventful weather weekend in Missouri. A Red Flag Warning is in effect Friday, and by Saturday night, storms are expected to develop across the region.

By Saturday, clouds will increase ahead of approaching thunderstorms. A chance of showers begins late Saturday evening, with a stronger storm system arriving after midnight. Rain and possible thunderstorms will continue into Sunday morning, with a 90% chance of precipitation. Temperatures will remain mild, reaching a high of 67°F on Sunday before cooling slightly into Monday.
Early next week, conditions will stabilize. Monday will be sunny with a high near 60°F, while Tuesday and Wednesday bring a slight chance of isolated showers.
