Missouri, Southern Illinois Weather: Dry and Comfortable Conditions Expected This Weekend

Paducah, KY – A cooler and drier weekend is in store for Kentucky, Missouri, and southern Illinois, offering a welcome respite from recent heat. Beginning Friday evening, temperatures will drop into the mid-60s overnight with a few clouds, setting the stage for pleasant weather throughout the weekend.

According to the US National Weather Service in Paducah, highs on Saturday will reach the mid-80s, described as “not as hot.” Saturday will see temperatures ranging from 84 to 88 degrees with mostly sunny skies, providing ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

Sunday continues the trend of favorable weather, with highs predicted to be between 87 and 90 degrees under sunny skies. The warmer temperatures will be more comfortable due to lower humidity levels, ensuring a pleasant day for residents and visitors.

The extended forecast into next week shows continued moderate temperatures. Monday and Tuesday will see highs around 90 degrees before cooling to the low 80s midweek, with a slight chance of rain on Wednesday and Thursday.

Air quality remains good, with an index of 28, ensuring safe conditions for all outdoor plans. This weekend’s weather outlook promises enjoyable and dry conditions, perfect for barbecues, hikes, and other summer activities.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and use sunscreen when spending extended periods outdoors. The US National Weather Service will provide updates if conditions change, ensuring everyone remains informed and prepared.
