Springfield, MO – A Greene County man has been sentenced to 50 years in federal prison after being found guilty of producing and distributing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri.

U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool sentenced 53-year-old Yevgeniy Dudko to the prison term on March 20, 2025. Dudko was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release and must register as a sex offender upon leaving prison.

According to prosecutors, Dudko was convicted of two counts of using minors, identified in court as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, to produce child pornography between November 2021 and March 2023. He was also convicted of receiving and distributing illegal material. Investigators recovered about 1,000 images and videos of child pornography produced by Dudko.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ami Harshad Miller and investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force, and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Jim Arnott praised the collaborative effort, calling it “another great example of Greene County detectives working with our federal partners to find justice for victims.”

Authorities said the case was part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice in 2006 to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
