Missouri – A chilly, gray sky hangs over St. Louis this morning, and a few light flurries may drift through the air, briefly dusting colder surfaces.

Temperatures hover in the mid-30s early, and while accumulation stays minimal, untreated roads and bridges could turn slick in isolated spots. Watch for quick patches on I-64, I-70, and I-44, especially in shaded areas.

As the morning progresses, clouds begin to break. Sunshine gradually pushes in, and temperatures respond quickly. By afternoon, highs surge into the mid-60s, melting any leftover flakes and drying roadways.

This sharp turnaround signals a bigger shift. Meteorologists highlight a strong warming trend building across the Midwest. By Thursday, St. Louis climbs into the low 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Friday—the first official day of spring—feels dramatically different. Highs approach 78°F with bright sun and light winds. It will feel more like late April than mid-March.

The weekend continues the warming streak. Saturday reaches near 80°F with clear skies and comfortable conditions. Outdoor plans should go uninterrupted, with dry roads and excellent visibility.

Drivers should still stay alert early today. Brief slick spots can form where melting and refreezing overlap, especially during early hours.

Looking ahead, temperatures stay mild into early next week before a slight cooldown returns.

Five Day Outlook for St. Louis, Missouri:
Thursday: High 72°F – Mostly sunny
Friday: High 78°F – Spring warmth peaks
Saturday: High 80°F – Sunny and warm
Sunday: High 81°F – Mild and bright
Monday: High 54°F – Cooler shift returns
