Missouri Forecast: Cooling Trend Brings Relief with Lower Temperatures and Potential Rain

Springfield, MO – A cooling trend is expected to bring relief to Missouri residents with temperatures dipping down into the 50s and 60s for lows and highs in the 70s and 80s by Friday into the weekend.

According to the US National Weather Service Springfield, Missouri, today will see temperatures ranging from 81 to 93 degrees with decreasing clouds. The warmest temperatures are expected in the southwest, with the coolest in the northeast.

By Thursday, temperatures will drop further with highs between 86 and 95 degrees and lows from 62 to 67 degrees. Friday will bring more comfortable conditions with highs from 78 to 85 degrees and lows from 61 to 68 degrees.

Saturday will see a slight chance of rain, mainly in the western regions, with temperatures ranging from 77 to 82 degrees for highs and 55 to 62 degrees for lows. On Sunday, scattered showers are more likely with a 20-55% chance of rain and temperatures ranging from 80 to 84 degrees for highs and 57 to 62 degrees for lows.
