St. Louis, MO – Drivers across central and eastern Missouri should prepare for hazardous travel conditions Sunday morning as dense fog reduces visibility to a quarter-mile or less.
According to the National Weather Service, a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Sunday, affecting key routes including Interstate 70 and I-44. Motorists are advised to use low-beam headlights and allow extra travel time.
Sunday’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies and a high near 64°F, with light southwest winds. Overnight, conditions turn mostly cloudy, with a low of 43°F and minimal wind activity.
Looking ahead, Monday will be sunny, reaching a high of 67°F, making for a warm start to the workweek. By Tuesday, a cold front will bring a high of 52°F, followed by a 40% chance of rain Tuesday night. Midweek, expect rain and thunderstorms, with highs near 60°F on Wednesday and 50% to 60% chances of precipitation.
