West Plains, MO – An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 2-year-old girl in West Plains. Paxton Raider was last seen on the evening of July 23 at 1702 Gibson, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to authorities, Paxton was allegedly taken by her father, Joseph Anthony Raider, 30, who is reportedly intoxicated and has made suicidal statements. Paxton is described as white, 2 feet 9 inches tall, 25 pounds, with blonde or strawberry hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light pink and tan shirt with shorts. Raider is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a green ballcap.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the West Plains Police Department at 417-256-2244 or call 911 immediately. The pair was last seen heading eastbound on foot. The Amber Alert covers Howell County, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
