Jackson, MI – Skies will stay mostly clear across Mississippi tonight as temperatures dip into the mid-60s to lower 70s, setting up a calm and comfortable night for much of the state.

According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, conditions will remain dry with just a few low clouds expected to develop around daybreak Monday, especially in eastern and southern counties. Cities such as Jackson, Meridian, and Hattiesburg will see overnight lows near 68, while cooler spots like Philadelphia and Vicksburg may slip closer to 66.

Drivers traveling early Monday should encounter clear conditions, but light patchy fog could form where humidity lingers, particularly in low-lying areas and near waterways. With no rain expected, road surfaces will remain dry for the Monday morning commute.

Residents are encouraged to enjoy the mild weather before a gradual warming trend builds through the week.

Pleasant evenings and comfortable mornings will continue, but updates are likely as clouds increase Monday and a more unsettled pattern develops midweek.
