St. Louis, MO – A storm system will bring a chance of light rain to areas west of the Mississippi River on Saturday, expanding across all of eastern Missouri Saturday night into Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in St. Louis.
Forecasters expect 20–30% rain chances Saturday, increasing to 30–50% overnight and into Sunday. Most of the precipitation will be light, with dry intervals in between showers. Temperatures will stay close to seasonal averages for late October, with highs between 60 and 65 degrees and overnight lows around 50 degrees.
No severe weather is anticipated, but residents should plan for damp conditions at times this weekend, especially during outdoor events and morning travel.
The NWS notes that overall rainfall amounts will remain light, with most areas receiving only a few tenths of an inch before conditions improve Sunday evening.
