Minneapolis, MN – Minnesota residents can expect a much-needed stretch of dry weather over the next two days. Sunday will be pleasant with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. The next system to watch will bring the chance for a few strong to severe storms across the region Monday afternoon into Monday night.

According to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities, tonight’s forecast includes mostly cloudy skies with temperatures ranging from 55 to 60 degrees. Patchy fog may be possible in some areas.

Sunday’s weather will be characterized by sunny skies and temperatures reaching 81 degrees. As the weekend concludes, Monday’s forecast indicates a high of 87 degrees with potential for severe weather. The storm system may bring strong winds, heavy rain, and possible hail, particularly in the afternoon and evening.

Tuesday will maintain warm temperatures with a high of 87 degrees, accompanied by mostly sunny conditions. By midweek, the weather will slightly cool down, with Wednesday’s high predicted to be around 80 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

The warming trend will resume on Thursday, with an expected high of 82 degrees and mostly sunny conditions. The pleasant weather is anticipated to persist into the weekend, providing an overall warm and sunny forecast for the week.
