Duluth, MN – Rain and a few isolated thunderstorms are moving across northern Minnesota today, marking the start of a mild but unsettled stretch of fall weather.

According to the US National Weather Service in Duluth, showers and isolated storms will continue on and off through tonight and into Friday morning. Despite the clouds and rain, temperatures will be unseasonably warm, reaching highs in the low 60s to low 70s Friday before cooling off this weekend.

By Saturday, skies will turn partly cloudy with highs in the mid-50s, followed by a cooler, mostly dry Sunday with temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60°F. Another round of light showers may develop in north-central Wisconsin later in the weekend.

Forecasters say the pattern will remain seasonable into early next week, with highs in the low 60s and lows in the 40s.
