Minnesota Weather Alert: Severe Thunderstorms Monday, Pleasant Weather Ahead

Minneapolis, MN – Thunderstorms are expected to move into western and central Minnesota this morning, with some storms potentially becoming severe. Residents should prepare for isolated strong storms, especially in the Twin Cities metro area. Additional showers and storms are also forecasted for western Wisconsin this afternoon.

According to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities, this morning’s thunderstorms will be followed by additional showers and storms later in the afternoon. Despite today’s stormy start, the rest of the week promises more pleasant weather. Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies with highs ranging from 75 to 80 degrees.

Wednesday will see even cooler conditions with mostly sunny weather and highs between 70 and 75 degrees. This trend of comfortable, sunny weather will continue into Thursday and Friday, with temperatures expected to reach the upper 70s to low 80s. By the weekend, Minnesotans can look forward to mostly sunny conditions with highs around 80 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.
