Duluth, MN – Light snow is expected across northern Minnesota tonight as a Clipper system moves through the region. The system will bring 1-2 inches of snow, primarily in the Arrowhead and north-central Wisconsin.

According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, skies will become overcast late tonight, with snow showers arriving after midnight. Snowfall will taper off by Saturday morning, followed by partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will rise significantly over the weekend. Highs on Saturday will range from 32°F to 48°F, with Sunday reaching 45°F to 56°F. By Monday, temperatures could climb as high as 64°F in some areas. Overnight lows will drop below freezing early next week.

Drivers should use caution on untreated roads overnight. Warmer temperatures will help melt lingering snow, but refreezing is possible at night.

Sunny and dry conditions are expected through early next week, bringing a break from winter weather. Residents can anticipate a mild stretch, making for an early taste of spring.
