Duluth, MN – A clipper system is bringing light snow, rain, and mixed conditions to northern Minnesota. The National Weather Service reports that snow accumulations, ranging from a dusting to up to 2 inches, will be possible across the Arrowhead region tonight and early Thursday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions may include some patchy freezing drizzle during the overnight hours, creating potentially slippery roads for early Thursday morning commuters. Temperatures will range from 25°F to 34°F tonight, with highs on Thursday expected to reach between 40°F and 49°F.

By Friday, the weather is forecasted to clear, with warmer temperatures rising into the 50s and 60s. A dry spell is expected to continue through the weekend, with another chance for precipitation arriving Sunday.

Residents are advised to prepare for slick conditions on roads and to stay informed about any updates. It’s essential for motorists to drive cautiously and adjust travel plans if necessary.
