Minnesota Weather Alert: Light Snow and Flurries Expected Across Northland Until Sunday

Duluth, MN – Light snow and flurries will continue across Minnesota this morning, with skies clearing into mostly cloudy conditions. Highs will range from 38°F to 45°F today, but temperatures are expected to drop into the teens by Sunday as light snow returns to the area.

According to the US National Weather Service Duluth, a few more chances for light snow or a mix of rain and snow are expected late this week and into the weekend. While precipitation amounts are forecasted to remain light, temperatures will steadily decrease. Friday will see mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of light snow, particularly in western areas. Highs will reach 38°F to 48°F in the warmest regions of northwestern Wisconsin, while lows will dip into the 20s.

Saturday brings partly cloudy skies and a chance of light snow over the eastern parts of the Northland. Morning temperatures will range from 20°F to 30°F, with highs between 35°F and 43°F. By Sunday, temperatures will fall further, with a low ranging from 16°F to 24°F and highs of 30°F to 34°F, especially in the colder borderlands.

Travelers are advised to remain cautious of light snow accumulations and cold temperatures.
