Duluth, Minn. – Breezy rain and fog could reduce visibility and make roads slick across Duluth overnight, with gusts reaching 25 mph and temperatures hovering just above freezing.

According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, sustained northeast winds up to 15 mph will persist through early Monday, with an 80% chance of precipitation between midnight and 10 a.m. Rain may briefly mix with snow before noon, although accumulation is not expected.

Travelers along Highway 61 and near the Lakewalk should prepare for low visibility and gusty crosswinds during the Monday morning commute. Temperatures will peak near 52°F by afternoon, with improving conditions as winds ease.

Residents should secure outdoor items and consider delaying early travel if possible. Power outages are unlikely but not impossible with gusts topping 25 mph.

The rain will taper off by late Monday, with clearer skies returning by Tuesday afternoon. Additional showers are possible midweek, and updates from the Duluth NWS office will follow if new advisories are issued.
