Bald Knob, AR – A Minnesota man was arrested Wednesday after an Arkansas State Police (ASP) traffic stop led to the discovery of an unlawful relationship with a juvenile.

According to ASP, troopers pulled over a 2015 Audi A6 on U.S. 67 around 1:30 p.m. for a traffic violation. Inside the vehicle were Landen Valiant, 21, of Mora, Minnesota, and an underage girl from White County. Investigators said Valiant met the girl through a social media app in 2024 and had been seeing her in person for the past two months.

Special agents recovered explicit content from Valiant’s electronic device, ASP said. The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Children & Family Services responded to provide assistance to the juvenile.

Valiant was arrested on a felony charge of fourth-degree sexual assault and booked into the White County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
