By the afternoon, winds will pick up from the northwest at 8-10 mph, becoming stronger overnight. Gusts could reach up to 40 mph by early Friday. A chance of rain early Friday morning will transition into snow by 9 a.m., with blustery conditions throughout the day.

Friday’s high will hover around 39°F, with wind chills making it feel much colder. North winds will intensify, reaching 30 mph and gusting as high as 48 mph. Travelers should prepare for sudden wind gusts and slick roads.

The weekend will bring colder but calmer conditions. Saturday will be sunny with a high of 25°F, while Sunday will warm up slightly to 43°F. Light winds will persist, with gusts up to 23 mph.
