East Grand Forks, Minn. – After a stormy weekend, clear skies and rising temperatures are set to return to East Grand Forks by Monday, July 28 — a welcome shift for drivers and residents preparing for the week ahead.
According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring mostly sunny skies with highs near 80°F and light northwest winds between 7 and 10 mph. While gusts may reach up to 20 mph in open areas, no rain is expected, giving road crews and travelers along US-2 and Highway 220 a break from the weekend’s thunderstorms.
The calmer conditions extend into Monday night, which will be partly cloudy with lows near 58°F. Tuesday follows with more sunshine and slightly cooler highs near 76°F, then nighttime temperatures dip again to the mid-50s under partly cloudy skies.
