Twin Cities, MN – Minnesotans can look forward to a pleasant midweek with comfortable temperatures and sunny skies, but changes are on the horizon as the weekend approaches. The National Weather Service Twin Cities reports that today and Thursday will feature clear skies and mild temperatures, with highs reaching 77°F and 83°F respectively.
According to the National Weather Service, the weather will warm up significantly by Friday, with highs around 86°F, and continue into the weekend. Saturday’s forecast predicts temperatures nearing 88°F under mostly sunny skies. However, elevated wildfire smoke may filter some sunshine over the next couple of days.
The forecast shows that Sunday will bring a chance of late showers with temperatures peaking at 87°F. Rain chances increase heading into Monday and Tuesday, with highs remaining in the upper 80s. Humidity levels are expected to rise, leading to muggy conditions over the weekend.
Today’s high is predicted to be 80°F with a low of 59°F under partly cloudy skies. As we move into Thursday and Friday, expect sunny skies with highs of 84°F and 88°F respectively. By the weekend, temperatures will climb further with Saturday and Sunday reaching highs of 88°F and 87°F, accompanied by increasing chances of rain late Sunday.
