Minneapolis, MN – Halloween will be a bit soggy across central and southern Minnesota as scattered rain showers move through the region this afternoon and evening, but drier and milder weather is on the way for the weekend.

According to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities, rain chances range from 40% to 60% through tonight, with the greatest likelihood of showers between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. across cities including Minneapolis, Saint Cloud, and Mankato. Temperatures will hold steady in the low to mid-40s, making for a chilly and damp evening for trick-or-treaters.

Conditions will improve Saturday, with highs again near 40–45°F and only a few lingering clouds. By Sunday, temperatures rebound into the low to mid-50s with breezy winds and partly sunny skies, signaling a return to more comfortable fall weather.

Residents are advised to carry an umbrella or light rain jacket for outdoor activities today, as brief showers could move in quickly.
