A wind advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with gusts reaching up to 50 mph, posing a risk for tree limb damage and potential power outages, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Milwaukee/Sullivan office.

NWS warns that high winds could cause hazardous driving conditions, especially on major roadways like I-94 and I-43. Those commuting should exercise caution and secure outdoor objects to prevent wind damage. Rain showers are likely until early afternoon, followed by mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will drop throughout the day, making it feel colder with wind chills in the 30s by evening.

Friday’s Forecast: After today’s stormy conditions, Friday brings sunny skies with a high near 51°F, providing a break from the week’s inclement weather. Winds will be milder, ranging from 5 to 10 mph, allowing residents a chance to recover from Thursday’s wind advisory.

Weekend Outlook: Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 58°F, but rain may return Saturday night with a 40% chance of showers. Sunday could see intermittent rain, and temperatures will hover around 60°F during the day before dropping to the low 50s Sunday night.
