Milwaukee will enjoy a golden stretch of fall sunshine heading into the weekend, but a shift looms by early next week. Drivers, outdoor workers, and families planning weekend activities should prepare for warm, dry conditions before rain chances return.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee, temperatures will climb into the low 80s Friday and Saturday under mostly clear skies. Southeast and south winds will remain light, keeping travel smooth across major corridors like I-94 and I-43. Boaters on Lake Michigan will also see calm conditions through Sunday, though cooler evenings may bring a slight breeze.

Saturday looks to be the best day for outdoor plans, with highs near 82 degrees and sun lasting from morning to evening. Sunday holds similar warmth near 80, perfect for early Halloween decorating, farmers markets, or fall festivals across southeastern Wisconsin.

The pattern breaks Monday as a 30 percent chance of showers develops after 1 p.m. By late Monday night into Tuesday, additional showers could bring damp conditions and cooler air. Commuters should prepare for possible wet pavement on Milwaukee’s busiest routes.

Looking ahead, temperatures dip into the mid-60s Tuesday before rebounding to near 61 by Wednesday with dry skies returning. Residents should use this weekend’s sunshine to complete outdoor projects, as October’s weather grows more unpredictable.

Warnings are not in effect, but the NWS advises staying weather-aware as Monday’s system approaches.
