Milwaukee, Wis. – Drivers across southeastern Wisconsin could face low visibility overnight as areas of fog develop, with the potential for dense patches into early Friday morning. The National Weather Service warns that travel could be slowed, especially along interstates and rural highways.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan, the fog will gradually clear Friday morning as skies turn mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s. Light and variable winds are expected, shifting southeast by afternoon.

By late Friday night into Saturday, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms returns, with scattered activity possible through early morning hours. Another round of storms may develop Saturday afternoon, particularly south of Milwaukee and into Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties.

The unsettled pattern eases Sunday, bringing sunny skies and highs near 80 in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Sheboygan. Early next week remains mostly dry, with small chances for showers returning by midweek.

Travelers are urged to use caution during the overnight fog, allowing extra time for the Friday morning commute. More storm updates may be issued if conditions intensify heading into the weekend.
