Milwaukee, WI – Southern Wisconsin will experience a warming trend this week, with temperatures climbing into the upper 50s and 60s before possibly reaching 70°F by Friday in inland areas. Breezy southwest winds will help push highs to around 60°F on Sunday and into the mid-60s on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan, a cold front moving through Monday night will briefly bring cooler air into Tuesday. However, warm air is expected to return midweek, with highs climbing toward 70°F by Friday in areas away from Lake Michigan.

Onshore winds from Wednesday to Friday will keep temperatures lower near the lake, with much cooler conditions expected closer to the shore. Dry weather is forecasted for most of the week.

Residents should prepare for shifting temperatures and breezy conditions, particularly inland where highs will be significantly warmer than lakeside areas.
