Milwaukee, WI – The US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan says the cold weather pattern continues across southern Wisconsin, as a series of clipper systems sweep through the region every 36 hours or so.
Today will feature sunshine but very cold air, with highs in the teens and wind chills between -10°F and -15°F this morning. Temperatures will drop back into the single digits tonight.
A weak clipper system will bring a dusting of snow north of I-94 Friday evening, with another round of light snow or flurries possible Saturday night. Highs Friday and Saturday will reach the mid-20s, with lows in the teens.
By Sunday, skies will be partly cloudy, but the cold air will persist, with highs again in the 20s.
Residents are advised to bundle up and use caution on slick roads late Friday and Saturday as brief snow showers move through.
