NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A warm and rain-free stretch will dominate Middle Tennessee this week as temperatures climb steadily back into the 90s by the weekend. The National Weather Service in Nashville reports conditions will remain quiet, with no major storm systems expected through Sunday.
According to the agency, Monday will be the coolest day, with highs between 74 and 81 degrees and morning lows dipping into the upper 40s in outlying counties. By midweek, Nashville and surrounding cities including Murfreesboro, Franklin, and Clarksville will see afternoon highs pushing near 90, paired with comfortable overnight lows in the 50s to low 60s.
Drivers and outdoor workers can expect dry pavement and mostly sunny skies each day, but the heat will return quickly. By Thursday and Friday, highs across Davidson, Williamson, and Rutherford counties are forecast to range from 82 to 93 degrees, bringing back mid-summer conditions just as schools and commuters settle into the week.
With no rain in sight, residents are advised to stay hydrated and limit strenuous activity during peak afternoon heat later this week. Officials say this stretch of warmth is likely to hold through next weekend, with no significant weather shifts expected.
