Nashville, TN – Residents across Middle Tennessee are waking up to another frosty morning Friday as cold conditions continue to dominate the region. According to the National Weather Service in Nashville, temperatures will remain below seasonal averages through next week, with highs generally in the 40s and lows dipping into the 20s.

Rain chances are expected to return late Saturday, continuing through early next week. The forecast shows a 40–100% chance of rain over the weekend, followed by potential mixed precipitation Monday night into Tuesday morning.

According to the weather service, the best chance for light snow accumulation will stay north of the I-40 corridor. No major winter storm is expected, but residents could see minor accumulations and slick spots in higher elevations.

The week will end with a gradual warm-up by midweek, though temperatures are forecast to remain below normal for late November. Wednesday is expected to be the driest day, with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-40s.

Meteorologists recommend keeping winter gear handy as the region experiences an extended stretch of chilly weather heading into December.
