According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville, today’s temperatures will range from 78 to 91 degrees, with a 60% chance of rain. However, starting Monday, a significant shift in weather patterns will bring much cooler temperatures and dry conditions. Highs on Monday will range from 77 to 87 degrees, with lows dipping to 55 to 64 degrees overnight.
The rest of the week will continue this trend, with temperatures peaking in the mid-80s and lows reaching the low 50s by mid-week. By Thursday, expect sunny skies with temperatures ranging from 81 to 89 degrees. This pleasant weather will carry through to the weekend, with Friday and Saturday seeing highs in the low 90s and no rain in sight.
This early fall preview is a welcome change for many in the region, providing a much-needed break from the summer heat. The NWS advises residents to enjoy the cooler weather while it lasts, as temperatures could rise again later in the season.
