Memphis, TN – Warm weather is expected to linger across the Mid-South next week, with temperatures running well above seasonal norms. According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, there is a 70–80% chance of above-normal temperatures from October 13–17, 2025.
Typically, mid-October highs in the region range from the mid to upper 70s, but the latest outlook shows highs likely reaching into the 80s across much of Tennessee, northern Mississippi, eastern Arkansas, and western Kentucky.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service Memphis office, pleasant weather will persist through the weekend, with highs in the 70s and lows mainly in the 50s. Some cooler pockets could dip into the upper 40s before warmer conditions dominate early next week.
The NOAA 6–10 Day Temperature Outlook shows much of the eastern United States under a strong “above normal” temperature pattern, while the western states are expected to see below-average readings.
Residents are encouraged to monitor updated forecasts and enjoy the stretch of late-summer-like weather before cooler conditions return later in the month.
