By Sunday, temperatures are forecasted to reach 96 degrees, setting the stage for even hotter conditions early next week. Monday will see highs of 97 degrees, but it’s Tuesday that will bring the most extreme temperatures. The mercury is expected to rise to 99 degrees, with a heat index likely exceeding 100 degrees.
The heat will persist into Wednesday, with another day of 97-degree highs. Residents are advised to take precautions, staying hydrated and avoiding outdoor activities during peak heat hours.
