Philadelphia, PA – The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly reports that a Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, for Ocean County, New Jersey, and Sussex County, Delaware, as minor tidal flooding continues in low-lying coastal areas.

According to the NWS Philadelphia/Mount Holly, some lingering high tides are causing minor flooding around Barnegat Bay and the back bays of Delaware beaches, but conditions are expected to improve by mid-morning Wednesday as winds ease and tides recede.

Beyond the advisory, the remainder of the week looks much calmer, with mostly sunny skies and seasonably cool temperatures across the Mid-Atlantic. Highs are expected to reach the mid-to-upper 60s on Wednesday, cooling to the upper 50s and low 60s Thursday and Friday. Overnight lows will dip into the 30s and 40s.

Forecasters say this pattern marks a quiet stretch following recent storm systems, with no major weather hazards expected into the weekend.
