Philadelphia, PA – Another cool and breezy day is expected across eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and portions of Maryland as temperatures top out mainly in the low to mid-50s. The National Weather Service in Mount Holly reports that morning sunshine will gradually transition to partly or mostly cloudy skies by the afternoon.
Highs across the region will range from the upper 40s in the Poconos to the mid-50s nearer the I-95 corridor, including Philadelphia, Trenton, and Wilmington. Areas farther south, such as Baltimore and coastal New Jersey, may reach the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
According to the National Weather Service, west-northwest winds of 10–15 mph will persist through much of the day, with occasional gusts reaching up to 25 mph. While still breezy, forecasters note that winds will be slightly lighter than earlier this week.
Cloud cover will steadily increase through the afternoon as a weak disturbance approaches from the northwest. No rain is expected today, and conditions will remain dry across the entire region.
Tonight, temperatures fall back into the upper 30s and low 40s, with light winds and partly cloudy skies. Seasonable mid-November conditions are expected to continue into the weekend, though a gradual warming trend may develop over the next few days as winds relax and the atmosphere stabilizes.
Residents across the Mid-Atlantic should expect a typical fall day—cool, breezy, and dry—with no significant weather hazards expected. Those heading out early for commutes or events should prepare for chilly morning temperatures before a modest warmup this afternoon.
