Gaylord, MI – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Western Chippewa and Western Mackinac counties until 7 p.m. Wednesday as lake effect snow continues to impact the region.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Gaylord, additional snowfall of up to two inches is expected, with localized higher amounts possible. The snow could lead to slippery road conditions, making travel hazardous throughout the day.
Motorists are advised to slow down and exercise caution while traveling. The advisory is set to expire Wednesday evening, but lingering snow showers and cold temperatures may still impact roads beyond that time.
