Detroit, MI – Southeast Michigan will see changing weather this week, with rain arriving Tuesday and a chance of weekend snow. Temperatures will remain mild early in the week before a drop heading into Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will be partly sunny with a high near 43°F. Rain is expected to develop late in the evening and continue into Wednesday, with a 60% chance of precipitation. By Wednesday night, temperatures will drop to 35°F as rain lingers.

Thursday will bring mostly cloudy skies with highs around 41°F. Friday will be sunny and slightly warmer, with a high near 40°F. However, by Saturday, rain and snow could mix, as highs remain in the low 40s with lows dropping to 22°F overnight.

Drivers should prepare for wet road conditions Tuesday night into Wednesday, particularly on major highways like I-94 and I-75. While snow accumulation isn’t guaranteed for Saturday, colder temperatures could make roads slick.

Those with outdoor plans should take advantage of dry weather early in the week. Rain gear will be needed midweek, while winter coats may be necessary by the weekend.
